My name is Astrid and i live on Stord,
«the island of summer». A beautiful place in Sunnhorldand, a region between Bergen in the north and Stavanger in the south. Islands and areas with both the open sea and tall mountains «hand in hand»- the most beautiful coastline and impressive mountains.
And, in the midst of this, i get to live my life, be inspired, work and have my studio.
I have been practicing my art for 25 years, many years of testing different expressions and giving freedom to new ideas, all of which have laid the foundation for the technique i use today.
The world around me fascinates me and i find inspiration in the people i meet and those i have in my life.
I find drive and excitement in the constant change in the sea and the mountains, my own life and experiences, the dakness and the light. And in faith.
